Hi, I’m Dhamen. My career has taken me across government, public and private sectors, from shaping policy at the Department of Health and Social Care and working within the Home Office, to helping Dyson improve its sales process by automating data capture. That project in particular showed me how the right mix of people and technology can unlock better results with less effort. I also spent time at AXA Investment Managers, where I led on business continuity planning and server backup processes, giving me first-hand experience of how large organisations prepare for and manage disruption.I bring together policy and technology. I hold an MSc in Cybersecurity from Sheffield Hallam University, a BSc (Hons) in Business Computing from Brunel University, and a certificate in Public Policy Analysis from the London School of Economics. I’m also a certified ISO/IEC 27001:2022 Lead Auditor, giving me the grounding to help organisations build practical and resilient security.Along the way I’ve also had the chance to share ideas on big stages, including a TEDx talk on decision-making and how we can make better choices when the future feels uncertain.GAU Advisory grew out of all these experiences. Every organisation matters, and for every leader, their business is big and worth protecting. My goal is to make high-quality security advice affordable and accessible to those who need it most. I focus on simplifying complex problems, giving leaders confidence in their decisions, and helping teams put in place practical steps that really work.
The name GAU stands for Gather, Adapt, Unleash. A simple way of describing how I approach challenges. I help organisations gather the right insights, adapt with clarity and resilience, and then unleash their full potential. That’s what this business is about: turning uncertainty into confidence and ideas into action.
